Observation internship at Iadys

In February and March 2019 , I had the opportunity to do an observation internship at IADYS , an innovative company specializing in sustainable development, particularly through the design of port cleaning robots .

Their flagship product, the Jellyfishbot , is a small autonomous robot capable of collecting floating waste , including plastics and hydrocarbons, in port areas. This technological approach to the service of the environment had a profound impact on me.

During this internship, I was able to observe the work of several trades:

• Business Director : strategy, project management, global vision

• Engineers and mechatronics engineers : design, prototyping, maintenance

• Sales : product demonstrations, customer relations, communication

• Secretaries : administrative management, internal coordination

  
  

This first contact with the professional world was a real revelation for me: it made me aware of the importance of innovation in the service of the environment, while giving me a concrete insight into the synergy between the different technical and administrative professions .
